Meet The Doctors

Dr. Joshua Cowart graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1999. He grew up in Kent, attending Scenic Hill Elementary, Kent Junior High and Kent Meridian High School. While in Dental School, Joshua taught himself to play the guitar and formed a band with his sister. Since then, he has been in several Indie Rock bands, released three albums and has played many of Seattle’s elite music venues.

While music is important to Joshua, he remains focused on his profession and has become one of Washington’s top dentists. Dr. Joshua Cowart worked as an affiliate instructor at the University of Washington School of Dentistry and at Renton Technical College’s Dental Assisting Program. He has also volunteered with a local program called Husky Smiles, as well as internationally in Jamaica and Uganda through International Smile Power.

Dr. Joshua spends a great deal of time in continuing education to ensure our office remains current with advancements in the dental field. He has taken mini-residencies in Lumineers, Implant Dentistry and Advanced Multi-Implant Supported Full Arch Bridges. The rest of his time is spent in the mountains stocking and fishing the most remote Alpine lakes in the Cascades as a member of the Washington Trail Blazers.

Dr. Erin Reed graduated from Nova Southeastern School of Dentistry in 2008. Like Josh, Erin also grew up in Kent where she attended Pine Tree Elementary, Sequioa Junior High and Kent Meridian High School C/O 1996. Prior to dental school Erin attended Eastern Washington University where she completed her Dental Hygiene degree graduating Cum Laude. While in dental school Erin received many accolades. These included:

      - Highest Scholastic Achievement (Graduated #1 in  her class)

Dr. Reed loves every aspect of dentistry. Her main concern is the quality of care she gives to her patient. She takes her time with each patient talking to them, getting an understanding to what the patient’s needs and wants are and making sure she treats them accordingly. She is involved in the community and takes the measures to keep up to date with the latest advancements in dental treatment.

When not treating patients Dr. Reed is very busy with her 3 kids, running them around to all their
practices and games. Her kids are very involved in Tahoma athletics including Tahoma Lacrosse,
Tahoma basketball, Valor Soccer and is a proud dance mom to her girls who dance competitively at
Allegro Performing Arts Academy.
